GYMNASIUM USAGE

Gymnasium Usage

Permission for usage of the gym and any athletic equipment must be obtained from the Athletic Director.  

Priority for gymnasium usage

1. Congregational gatherings

2. St. Johns Church and School organizations/groups

3. Individual congregational members

4. Other Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Church/School groups

5. Any non-WELS group will be considered individually by the Church Council
   

Rental

No charge when St. John's Church/School members are participating with advanced approval.
Sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour for non St John's groups

Supervision

A responsible adult, at least nineteen (19) years of age, must be present at all times.  That individual will be in charge of the following:

1. Unlocking and locking the doors

2. Turning the lights on and off.

3. Getting and putting away all equipment.

4. Permitting only non-marking athletic footwear on the gym floor.

5. Restricting all activity to the gym proper and adjoining locker rooms.

6. Making sure the shower and locker rooms are clean.

7. Dust mopping the floor when activity is over.

Conduct

All activities held in the facility must be done to the glory of God.  This will be shown by proper words and actions as well as proper use of the equipment.  Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of privileges.
