Kindergarten is a special time in a child’s life!
A day in the life of my kindergarteners is very active, productive – and fun! We use many hands-on activities and types of technology in all subject areas. In all of those subject areas we hear about the great love and power of our Savior Jesus.
Whether the kindergarteners are growing spiritually, physically or academically, Jesus is at the center of all our days. Our main focus is God’s Word, reading and math, but we also spend part of our week in social studies, science, art, music, technology and phy. ed. activities.
We tend to “celebrate” everything in our room . . . the 100th day of school, any holiday, hot days (squirt bottles), beautiful fall days (nature walks), camping in our pj’s, new fish and many more! We have several field trips or in-house activities planned throughout the year.
Kindergarteners also interact with classroom “grandmothers” and buddies in other classes. We are busy little lambs of God! I thank Him every day for allowing me to “work” in His kingdom!
